    I want to live

Wednesday, July 11, 2007, 10:08 PM CST [General]

    I want to live
    Where no one has lived
    I want to walk
    where no one has walked
    I want to speak words
     that has never been breathed
    I want to laugh
    where there's no laughing
I want my eyes to cry
    where tears have never fallen
    I want to fight
    where no one has faught
    I want to search
    where no one has sought
    I want all impossible
    to be possible
    I want all the world
    that has never been reached

I found this in a book of my grandmother and the inspiration for most of what i believe in. I never fully understood the meaning behind it until recently when i was at a job interview. I thought i would pass it on incase anyone else out there can use some words of wisdom.

    Defenders of wildlife

Monday, April 30, 2007, 03:15 PM CST [General]

    Hello everyone,

It's been a while since i wrote in here. Allot of the reason is something been on my mind for a while.  To start i would like everyone to go to these pages:

    http://www.defenders.org/
    http://action.defenders.org/site/PageServer?pagename=savewolves_homepage

As many of you know, or don't know about me, i'm a big supporter of saving animals over people. After reading these two web sites i had to take a deep look at myself and where i am in the big wheel of life, death and rebirth.

Well back to what's been going on. For the last two months i've been haunted by dreams that are all about the same thing. Me standing at a crossroads again in life. Only this time the path i take will lead to someone getting hurt by me. I don't want to go into much more on what i'm talking about, just that i've had allot on my mind and am trying to decied which path to take.

And for those who know me well enough. No i can not do my normal and walk down the middle of the two paths so that i'm walking them both at the same time. this time i'm being forced to choose between my two options. Oh well, such is life of me.

Just wanted to let everyone know i'm still alive, and want you all to go to those links, sign up and help save our brothers and sisters in little fur and feather coat's.

    PECANS IN THE CEMETERY

Monday, March 19, 2007, 04:11 PM CST [General]

On the outskirts of a small town, there was a big, old Pecan tree just inside the cemetery fence.

One day, two boys filled up a bucketful of nuts and sat down by the tree, out of sight, and began dividing the nuts.

"One for you, one for me. One for you, one for me," said one boy.

Several dropped and rolled down toward the fence.

Another boy came riding along the road on his bicycle. As he passed, he thought he heard voices from inside the cemetery. He slowed down to
investigate. Sure enough, he heard,"One for you, one for me. One for you, one for me."

He just knew what it was. He jumped back on his bike and rode off.

Just around the bend he met an old man with a cane, hobbling along.

"Come here quick," said the boy, "you won't believe what I heard!

Satan and the Lord are down at the cemetery dividing up the souls."

The man said, "Beat it kid, can't you see it's hard for me to walk."

When the boy insisted though, the man hobbled slowly to the cemetery.

Standing by the fence they heard, "One for you, one for me. One for you one for me..."

The old man whispered, "Boy, you've been tellin' me the truth.

Let's see if we can see the Lord."

Shaking with fear, they peered through the fence, yet were still unable to see anything. The old man and the boy gripped the wrought iron bars of the fence tighter and tighter as they tried to get a glimpse of the Lord.

At last they heard, "One for you, one for me. That's all. Now let's go get those nuts by the fence and we'll be done."

They say the old man made it back to town a full 5 minutes ahead of the kid on the bike!

    forgivness

Monday, March 19, 2007, 04:00 PM CST [General]

TWO FRIENDS WERE WALKING THROUGH THE DESERT. DURING SOME POINT OF THE JOURNEY THEY HAD AN ARGUMENT AND ONE FRIEND SLAPPED THE OTHER ONE IN THE FACE.

THE ONE WHO GOT SLAPPED WAS HURT, BUT WITHOUT SAYING ANYTHING, WROTE IN THE SAND: "TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SLAPPED ME IN THE FACE."

THEY KEPT ON WALKING, UNTIL THEY FOUND AN OASIS, WHERE THEY DECIDED TO TAKE A BATH.

THE ONE WHO HAD BEEN SLAPPED GOT STUCK IN THE MIRE AND STARTED DROWNING, BUT THE FRIEND SAVED HIM. AFTER HE RECOVERED FROM THE NEAR DROWNING, HE WROTE ON A STONE:

"TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SAVED MY LIFE." THE FRIEND WHO HAD SLAPPED AND SAVED HIS BEST FRIEND ASKED HIM, "AFTER I HURT YOU, YOU WROTE IN THE SAND AND NOW, YOU WRITE ON A STONE, WHY?"

THE OTHER FRIEND REPLIED "WHEN SOMEONE HURTS US WE SHOULD WRITE IT DOWN IN SAND WHERE WINDS OF FORGIVENESS CAN ERASE IT AWAY. BUT, WHEN SOMEONE DOES SOMETHING GOOD FOR US, WE MUST ENGRAVE IT IN STONE WHERE NO WIND CAN EVER ERASE IT."

LEARN TO WRITE YOUR HURTS IN THE SAND AND TO
    CARVE YOUR BENEFITS IN STONE.

THEY SAY IT TAKES A PERSON, AN HOUR TO APPRECIATE THEM, A DAY TO LOVE THEM, BUT THEN AN ENTIRE LIFE TO FORGET THEM.

SEND THIS PHRASE TO THE PEOPLE YOU'LL NEVER
FORGET. IF YOU DON'T SEND IT TO ANYONE, IT MEANS YOU'RE IN A HURRY.

TAKE THE TIME TO LIVE! DO NOT VALUE THE THINGS
YOU HAVE IN YOUR LIFE, BUT VALUE WHO YOU HAVE IN YOUR LIFE!
